Sore calves
« on: 04 April, 2013, 09:41:52 pm »
Since a ride last sunday calves have been really sore. Only thing that has changed recently is saddle being lowered a bit due to observed rotating hips and saddle also moved forward a bit to reduce reach to the pedals (B17). All the usual stuff about knees and plumblines and pedal axis centre lines has been taken on board. Now according to the old interwebby my cleats should be further forward or further back,  and my saddle should be higher or lower  ???. I have taken the cleats back a bit on my winter boots cos heel down stretch does sound feasible and could be logical source of the discomfort. What say our experts here?

Ps Audax event at the week end so hope it resolves itself.
