BBC Sport - Cycling - Belgian Gert Steegmans injured in whirlwind accident

Belgian cyclist Gert Steegmans broke a collarbone after being caught in a whirlwind in the Paris-Nice prologue.

The RadioShack member was lifted off the ground as he sped 75km/h (47mph) downhill during Sunday's time-trial.

It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

Yesterday there was another win for Team Sky. They're doing OK! Sounds like it was a horrible stage to ride, with plenty of crosswind and crashes, inc. Contador.

3 weeks recovery from a plated collar bone seems incredible to me ,they wouldnt take mine out for 3 months and whilst its in there moving your arm is absolute agaony.
