Mobile repair service

In brief, you summon a mechanic through the app, they ride to you and fix the bike at the roadside/home/workplace.

The convenience of it sounds quite compelling - particularly if you can avoid time "off the road" by having the repair during a working day for example.

Any thoughts?

I’m not really the target demographic, but my initial thoughts are around liability. If these mechanics are not trained up to a recognised level of competence, could I trust them to - for example - replace a brake cable? If I were to take action in a case of negligence, would I pursue the mechanic or the people behind the app?

I think we all know what the answer to this is going to be...
