London to York via Retford or York to Retford to London

Is this possible- does anyone know if this is possible on a direct train?

Yes
For example the 10.02 from York tomorrow calls at Retford at 10.40 arriving at London at 12.22

In the trainline website if you select the journey as York to London, then select a train you can click on ‘Calling Points’ in the pop-up box. Some are direct but some are stopping.
