Clipless moment.

It had to happen eventually, and roughly 5 years since the last one, I had a clipless moment yesterday!   :-[

Like all clipless moments I had an audience of about 20 other cyclists who watched me pull up at a junction and then gracelessly topple into the stinging nettles on the verge.  :'(

They were very good. Very little sniggering and some concern for my health.

Anyhow, very little damage to me or the bike (slight tear in bar tape) but I now have the most impressive chainring tattoo on my leg!!    8) :thumbsup: :thumbsup:



How cool is that!!!??   ;D

F******ck. That's mental - I'm almost jealous!  :)

Make sure you keep it clean, those little puncture points look nasty.

Hope your are all right! But a real Maasai warrior would gladly rub fresh cow dung on it to get some propper scaring goin'! ;D

Woke up with a sore leg this morning.  On examining it I have a line of teethmarks, with embedded oil, up the back of my calf.

I don't recall any accidents when out riding yesterday ???
