It's all Greek to me

On today's tandem club ride, one of the members of staff at Thee Pubbe had a tattoo, in Greek, on the back of her neck. Being a polite/up tight young man I didn't ask her what it meant.  From memory it was "μαμά", which Mr Google's translation thing says is "mamά".  Or as close to mama as makes no odds.  Was that it?

I studied NT Greek at uni but ddn't come across that word but can't think what else it'd be.
