Very good. Did you actually have to repaint to get that colour coordination??

I'm a bit tardy on this thread, but in my defence, have only just found you.
I have a Revive frame, and am trying to put it together. My main problem is the seat post, at 43.7mm... I'm looking for one. I bought a short length of s/s tube, intending to turn a reducer, but the wall thickness got too thin. So. Unless I can get the correct tube, I'll just obtain another smaller diameter tube, and turn that reducer. I'll play with a shim, in case that'll do it.
I'm going to make a seatpost clamp, too, unless anyone has ideas where I can get one, parts for these all seem to be made out of that precious metal...unobtainium  ::-)
I'm also interested in people's opinions on this machine, post if you have one (an opinion, that is  ;D )
TIA,
Pytr

Ooops. It's been a while since I looked at this thread . .  .

Pytr, you mention a seatpost, my Revive doesn't have one. If yo really need to fill a hole nearlt 50mm in diameter then some round billet with a 31.6mm hole in the middle and turned down to fit the frame would be the way to go methinks.

If you need spares I think you might be best off contacting Giant directly in Holland, they weren't big sellers in the UK (mine came via an importer of used Dutch bikes - and he had no idea what it was!) and I'd be surprised if any bike shop ever did much with them. Before I got mine I had only ever seen one other in the flesh and that was in an LBS in Bury, Lancs, which ceased tgrading about 8 years ago...

I'd be interested to see some pictures if you can post some just for comparison.

To round this off, my Revive has gone to pastures new. A chap walked in took one look and wanted it.

The bike head is sad because I won't have the opportunity to ride it again.

The business head was considering the rent . . .
