Superbright rear light from headset spacer and broken torch

With the dark commutte approaching I decided that single Mars 4.0 rear blinky with its narrow beam is not good enough and need to built something better.
 After some rummaging I found:
- red led from DX
- piece of aluminum 1mm thick
- piece of acrylic sheet 10mm thick
- 10mm 1 1/8 headset spacer
- broken 2AA torch
- 2x 3 Ohm resistors
- wire, rubber bungs, bolts etc.
Two evenings later I present you this:

It's pretty self-explanatory what I did here. Batteries are in a cut body of a torch, led is direct driven through two resistors in parallel. Everything is glued together with epoxy so its water resistant. Two bolts that you can see in the back also hold the star board with led in place.
