It’s still underwater between North End and Felsted Mill.

I fancy a ride out tomorrow but struggling to understand the intricacies of the ACME bicycle display team.

Shall I just pick up someone's route and ride the other way round?

Help!

OK, have applied some thought to my display team logistics, and reckon if I ride this route, https://ridewithgps.com/routes/34678071, then if I get to Pleshey at 815, I should see people coming the other way!!

Please don’t rely too heavily on me, real life is putting my participation in some jeopardy  ::-)

J Ellioth and I will be departing Stortford at 7, so should be at Howe Street around 8:15 and heading up OD's route to Felstead for the next half hour or so, depending on how much swimming we need to do.

I think it would be exceedingly rude not to.  The Rule of Six is back so...

I think the restrictions finish at midnight on 2nd Dec, so you may be a week early?

Really?  Bollocks.  So why don't we break with tradition and move Wednesday evening to Thursday evening?

Just been looking on gov.uk and it says...

Quote
Guidance
Local restriction tiers: what you need to know
Sets out the local restriction tier system that will be in place from Wednesday 2 December, including what you can and cannot do in each tier.

So that kind of infers we'll be OK on the evening of Wednesday 2nd December.  Although josser will be the final arbiter as he's the one who has to open the pub!

And the contradictory bit of guidance states:

"The new measures will apply nationally for four weeks up
to and including Wednesday 2 December. At the end of
that period, we will return to a regional approach, based
on the latest data."

*sigh* - I have to deal with this every day at work....

Josser - it's up to you it seems!

But we'll need to book and can't do this until Tuesday, I've made a diary note.
