Polyamide-Pertex Primaloft-padded Parisian pigeon poop purging problem

A bloody French bird done a big plop on my nice Rab Generator Vest, during my recent day trip to Paris.  The shell is made of Pertex (polyamide), and it contains Primaloft padding.

The washcare label recommends professional cleaning, but does include a 30C normal wash symbol.  I'd rather avoid the expense of professional/dry cleaning, so should I just bung it in the washing machine, or try something else?

Actually, I'd suggest sponging it off with a damp cloth.

Too late to get it off quickly.  It's been on ten days already.  I forgot about it, and only re-discovered it today.

I can live with discolouration; just don't want it looking disgusting.  The garment is black.
