I don’t recall there being this many Brits in the team.

Did everyone like the new Specialized TT helmet?  I'm sure I've seen it somewhere before ...

That was an interesting TT. I loved the interview from G afterwards as well, where he got half the way through saying "bloody" and decided that was too racy and changed it to bloomin'. :)

What price David Gaudu being DSQ for his handbagging of Ruben Guerreiro?  Oh, wait, he's a Frenchman leading a French team.

As you were.

Edit: Highlights prog has confirmed that it was Stefan Küng wielding the handbag rather than David Gaudu.  Fined 500 CHF.

He gets everywhere doesn't he?! Unless you are referring to Wow Van Aert?  It was terrific to watch in spite of being a flat "sprinter's" stage.  Northern France never looked lovelier.

Tonight at 20:00 on ITV4 (so immediately after the TdF highlights show) “Ned's History of Irish Cycling”.  TV's *** Boulting delves into the history of Irish road cycling, meeting global icons like Sean Kelly and Stephen Roche to learn how one small island produced top two cyclists, it sez 'ere.

He's done sweet FA since the Prologue so it’s about time.  Even if he did do the Giro as well.

Crikey.  That was, ah, interesting.  And not easy to keep track of.  Still, Magnus C-N got the Combativité again today

87 lumpy km before the first classified climb tomorrow.  Surely he wouldn’t… would he?

Interview with Roglič at the end of the highlights show: seems he dislocated his shoulder when he crashed but borrowed a spectator's chair to help put it back in himself :o. 'e's not built right!

Yup.  Which explains why he wasn't at the side of the road when Wout flew past towing the rest of his team.
Also - he rode for an hour after that, with a significant number of cobbled sections!!!

Blimey! That finished so quickly ITV4 has let G Imlach et cie go home an hour early! Props to Magnus Cort for at least trying to get in the break again and to w00t Van Aert for going out in a blaze of glory.  *** & Super D seem to think that Van Der Poel is not long for this world race.

Unless Pogačar drowns during a rest day swim or goes down with Teh Plague, I fear so.  I don’t see anyone currently in the top ten getting near him, with the caveat that I know bugger-all about Vlasov.
