Does an “electronic spot” count?  FelstedRider has a tweet of his spotlighted by Road.cc in their story on Jeremy Vine’s twitter spat with a taxi driver.

Glad you pointed that out.    :thumbsup:

A bunch of could be YACF'ers waiting for one of their fellows with a mechanical at the edge of Witchford. I stopped for a brief chat with their recumbentist, on a yellow Azub before carrying on myself

Spotted by Pedaldog whilst in Lancaster yesterday.

Good to see you again Sir.  It's been many many moons since a camping meet.

YACFers don't have mechanicals.  They choose not to proceed.

Delthebike in Priory Park. He was out for a run. I was out for a walk. Not a bike in sight.

Bumped into Ian H at the Tour Of Witheridge Moor race HQ in Devon yesterday. Must be about 8 years since our paths last crossed! Good to have a brief chat before heading out into the rain to do the 80km race in the rain. I thought Devon was all about sunshine and cream teas, sorely disappointed (though the post-race cake was good).

A fellow cyclist waiting to board the ferry at Hook of Holland, after chatting I guessed he may be OTP, and indeed he was but not a frequent visitor. T-monster I think he said his forum name was.

I did meet Lee K ( rando-nurr ) OTP in Umea, and can confirm he is a real, if somewhat aged, person :')
Also, I did have breakfast with Alan Silva, who may or may not be OTP, I don't know.

In discussions with Team USA, I actually knew a few riders of their acquaintance!

Someone in a yacf jersey leaving Barnard Castle when I had just started my first volunteer shift waving people in and out.  You noted that we were wearing the same cap. ;D
Think it possible that you may be mistaken.

I spotted a YACF jersey in the wild on Sunday morning between Shortwood and Pucklechurch in South Gloucestershire, a good chance they're someone who uses this forum?

I met too many to mention on LEL.

I was wearing a red YACY gillet and red YACF top some of the time.
My memory has grown hazy of all those I met.
I can remember:

Mr Larrington at the start, and at some control far from Larrington Towers;
Someone at the entrance / exit of a bike parking area;
The Rev G. at the secret control;
Hummers onna motorbike (more than once?) and I think at Eskdalemuir;
AlfaPete lending me a light at some control where my charge cable had broken;
Another rider inna green YACF jersey, name lost like tears in the rain;
Charlotte at the end.

And others I have missed.

Oh, and obviously IanDG at some control too...
