Wheelchairs, like bicycles, are not quite as simple as they might appear.
The user really ought to get fitted professionally, ideally by an OT. A tilt mechanism will add extra weight. Shopkeepers can be helpful and knowledgeable but they will want to SELL.
A chair must be strong enough for the user's weight, the right width, height and seat pitch.
Are dual brakes needed? (One set for seated user, one set for pusher)
Look around, try models out, enlist advice from a seasoned user or other expert.
Don't rush into spending big money...
