Talking of beer, there is a beer with my full name literally written all over it. Well, on the pump at least. I've never sampled it as it's mostly only available in the west country, but you can bet your bollocks to a barn dance that it will be good

Well of course, my namesake used to be Culture Secretary, so was basically in charge of literature, so nyaaah.

However, he did (does) bat for the other team, so that's where the parallels end really.
