Looking at recent pictures I found a few bridges.
Exeter

Topsham (I think, a nature reserve on the cycle route from Exeter to Exmouth)

Under the bridge, Bovey Tracey

Barnstaple, on the cycle route

Although I escape from the bridgey desert that is Battle Mountain yesterday, it wasn't a very good day for bridges.  Today, though, had a few more bridgey delights on offer.

Not sure whether this is actually a bridge or not, but it looks like one.  It carries US-191 between the Flaming Gorge Dam and the rest of Utah.

I find myself intrigued by the numerous signs fixed to the smaller bridges. Some are superfluous "One lane bridge" well you can see that, and others are written out so that if you need to see them, you probably don't have time to read them "Trucks slow to 3 mph". Whirr!

Railroad road bridge over, I think, AB-6 in southern Alberta.  Five shiny Canadian dollars to anyone who can replace the graffiti with "M Khan is bent".

That's probably the lot for this year's road trip as I can see the terminal buildings of Calgary airport out of the window and am not planning to take off into the countryside tomorrow, because there isn't any.

I think I may have posted this bridge over the Ythan before, but you're getting it again as it required a bit of comedy off-roading to get there  :)

Caine Road Bridge was built in 1986 in honor of Ashtabula County's 175th anniversary.

So this pleasant but not massively remarkable bridge is the home of the one-piece crankset?

My grate frend Marieke seems to have a Crinklyesque Thing about covered bridges, which is a difficult Thing to sate when you live on the edge of Amsterdam.  I've only bagged three myself, one in each of Vermont, Illinois and Oregon.

That is rather splendid, isn't it?

Also, does that mean that we've arrived at a point where ppl who don't frequent the forum are starting to spot bridges for CrinklyLion (and everyone else!)?

Marieke could try Schwäbisch Hall. There are several and it's nearer than Oregon.

The word for these is 'Steg (m)'.
