Daisy, dozing.

You got a cat to match your sofa, cunning move! She certainly does seem comfortable in her own skin  ;D

It's my parents' sofa, and I'm sure Mum had it in mind when choosing her kitteh. ;)

Daisy is a real skittish tearaway teenager, who does a comical line in 'fetch' with her favourite feather-on-a-stick toy. I'm hoping she'll calm down at some point and actually deign to sit on my lap.  ::-)

I'm not saying everyone in Hong Kong is mental, it's just that people are now taking their pets to professional studios to have their cats photographed in various costumes.

This is my gf's cousin's cat Kulu as a geisha. He's award winning in the world of Hong Kong cat dress up. More photos here

I had my frame on the bed for general  coveting reasons (no, before anyone asks I don't actually sleep with my frame) and it seems Rico is also pretty impressed with it. The rear triangle is his new nest for the day!

Is that what they call a cat-scan?

Would you mind holding the door for me? I've got my coat, thanks

Well that's the more blunt way of putting it but as usual he's dead right.

my mum has recently passed away..around 8 years ago i stopped her from dog sitting as she had a fall on bookham common and broke her hip . she took on 2 kittens sally and geogie ,sisters. i have contacted the local vets to see if the can rehouse them as i have already got 3 cats and cannot afford more.i however very fond of them and wondered if a home might be found with a forum member . that way i hopefully can see pictures of how they are getting on  :thumbsup

I hope you find a good home for them Cycleman, roughly whereabouts are you? It might help with someone here taking them in. Good luck!

Smokey looks the spit of one of my sisters early cats - Bacardi. She was quite an odd cat, in a nice way, but definitely odd.

George stays still for long enough to snap a pic. Maybe it's something to do with the cat food he's optimistically sitting beside.

Our last old boy finally gave in to time last November, a couple of years after his brother had popped his clogs and left him in peace. He was about 18, so not really unexpected.

It does mean we have a little force of nature in the house now. A few weeks of the place feeling empty drove us to the cat rescue place where we picked up Isla - a tiny 5 year old tortoiseshell who wants inside every cupboard; to sleep on every lap; to chase and fight and basically burn off energy in every way imaginable.

She's seen off the local 'top cat' already, although she and the chickens seem to have come to an uneasy truce. She doesn't get too close to them and therefore they don't chase her.

Wow she looks like quite a little character, very cute :)

She's working on the tubbiness. Allegedly torties are prone to that, there certainly seems to be something as she exhibits most of the behaviour apparently typical to them.

And Mel (better half) showed me that pic when we were first looking to put a cat flap in (she's a semi-outdoor cat, certainly more so than the two old codgers who preceded her) commenting that she looked just like Isla. :D

Needs must.  The cat flap is way too far off the ground for them to get through easily otherwise.
