N+1=T

We meet, secret squirrel style, in a station carpark and hand over some non-sequential notes to a nice man and his lady wife. He was clearly sorry to see it go, but his wife was not. "She just never got on with it" he said, sadly stroking the virtually unused B17 on the front. "We can't have done more than 50 miles on it" said she, sternly packing away the cash and handing over the receipt before hubby changed his mind.

No2Daughter snapped us arriving home, a mere 5 hours after setting off from Norwich  ::-)

Apparently we were going too quickly for her to take a decent picture.

She declined to try it out herself but was happy to pose.

We stopped at the bike-scrappy in Mulbarton for some emergency fettling- I wasn't happy about the apparent lack of front braking power  :o and were able to downhill much more confidently thereafter! So confidently, he's taken to doing a Titanic every time we go downhill. Boys!

No2Son is delighted with his purchase. As am I.

Specs: It's a Dawes Horizon Twin, 21" Front 19" Rear.

Just to add another , really...

Glad to hear the stoker is already feeling confident.  I'm sure you'll pass to 50 mile mark very soon.
Half term's when the traffic becomes mysteriously less bad for a week.

And another

I really wish I could convince my other half that she would enjoy a tandem.

Great work! Their loss, but it's your gain.

Top stuff. Does it have a name?  All tandems need a name.

Is that so?
I'll consult with Mrs.jogler about choosing a name for ours.
