Every morning I think I get up earlier than most to go to work. And every morning he's already out there....

Another tough weather day. Here in Maidstone, the pavements are littered with protrate rubbish bins and it's raining. At least there is no risk of ice though.

It looks to me as though Steve is headed for Malmesbury today, not Tewkesbury. This would make sense for the wind later on - get it properly on his back. Must me hard work at the moment though.

Wind doesn't seem too bad here ATM. Is it worse further NE?

Ditto.
I've set my alarm a whole 2 mins earlier to check on him.

The moment of truth - into Malmesbury, or straight on to Wootton Bassett?

There was a monstrous squall at about 8:30 here, I hope he survived that!
It is simpler than it looks.

He's off again already! I assumed Malmesbury was a lunch stop. Now the wind is behind him, I wonder what the speed difference will be.

I rode 15km this morning out and back, before breakfast. (I was feeling inspired this morning- doesn't happen often)

Out was half the pace of back.

It's even windier west of here.

Due to my impossible-to-shake-off nocturnal habits he's usually on the road before I go to bed :-\

Omg.  After a full day, Steve has now turned into the wind for an extra loop.
And I grumbled about my commute.  :-[

Looks like you've put him on a diet! Did you forget the S's on the ends of the food stuffs? What have you lined up for desserts?
