What's it worth? Challenge Concept
« on: 14 October, 2008, 03:15:55 pm »
I am considering selling the much loved Artemis.

Like that but in Apple Green with a sports rack. I'll stick up my photos later.

Current spec price new is around £2.7k, upgraded with carbon seat and direct carbon track rods (also supplied with carbon indirect track rod). The boom has been shorted by 2.5 inches but will fit the following range 5'2" to 6'.

Chainset FSA Gossamer MegaExo 53/39/30
Rear derailleur : Shimano XTR
Front derailleur : Shimano Ultegra
Shifters : Shimano Dura Ace Bar-end
Cassette : Sram PG 980 11-34

A sub 14kg trike! It's in great nick and very very fast, can tow stupid amounts and is almost too much fun.

I'll open the bidding at:

One 8 yr old (nearly house trained)*, a Twix and some Normandy cidre brut

*Provided the M'em Sahib agrees, the cider's hers!

I'm in two minds now, been told I can start cycling again rather than in a very long time in the future.

It's a lovely looking beast, though, I gotta admit...

Don't sell it Sam!  It will be an ideal recuperative vehicle for you...

...plus I'd feel obliged to buy it (if there was enough length left in the boom) and Mr R would not be happy!

Yeh and the chances of picking one up again are very slim.

What's my chances of coming down to see you one day and taking the dimensions so I can replicate it in carbon/kevlar over a foam core? Can I have a go, mister? It's all right you don't have to have Beatrix attached. . . ;D

Beautiful machine Sam. Quite a buzz and a sensation to ride. I'd echo what Regulator said, an ideal recuperative machine for you.
