SingleSpeed UK championships 2011

Anybody else considering 'racing' at SSUK this september? Anybody done it in previous years?

Entries have just opened. Pippingford Park in East Sussex this year.

UK Singlespeed Championships 2011

I'm probably going, and trying to talk Chris n into it at the moment.

I'm always up for a race including a beer-stop in the course, and you're guaranteed to come now lower than fourth!

I remember when this was part of the Bristol Bike Fest. Watching the race on the Sunday after competing in the 12 hour enduro on the Saturday was great fun. Stopping for a beer at the end of each lap, and 2 guys getting off and having the most intense play-fight (battering each other over the (helmet covered) head with beer cars), made me want to re-think my MTB racing and join a definitely more leisurely pursuit  ;D
