Has anyone tried this?

needs the wheel to be "re-dished"

I've gone as far a buying the bits to do it.
The wheel doesn't need re-dishing as the 3 speed sprockets are from a 10 speed, so they are narrower than the standard Brompton ones.
Obvs. you'll also need to fit a 10 speed chain.

ETA - if you buy it from Bike Gang, it'll cost you around £25.00, and not £150.0

Thanks, I think that if you compare like for like Bike Gang is about £75 plus the cost of a chain
