My all time favourite:

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams ... glitter in the dark near Tanhauser Gate. All those ... moments will be lost ... in time, like tears ... in rain. Time ... to die."

Roy Batty, death scene - Blade Runner

(Even more magical because Rutger Hauer (Roy Batty) wrote the line himself the night before in his trailer)

Love that quote.

I'm off to the cinema tomorrow to see whatever the latest cut of Blade Runner is called - I suspect that Blade Runner is possibly one of the films I have seen most often in the cinema (courtesy of various double/triple bills at the Everyman Cinema and the Scala).

Anyway back on topic:

"Wake up!  Time to die!"

From Zulu:
Why is it us? Why us?
Because we're here, lad. Nobody else. Just us.

And again:
The sentries report Zulus to the south west. Thousands of them.

Another favourite of mine(ok two, from the same film):

The Big Lebowski: "...but he pissed on my rug"

"...you're about to enter a world of pain" (and the associated rant)

I feel like Captain Kirk, on a brand new planet every day, a little like King Kong on top of the Empire State

"Normally, both your asses would be dead as fucking fried chicken, but you happen to pull this shit while I'm in a transitional period so I don't wanna kill you, I wanna help you. But I can't give you this case, it don't belong to me. Besides, I've already been through too much shit this morning over this case to hand it over to your dumb ass. "

Jules, Pulp Fiction.

Of course, there are many others that are also cracking quotes from that fillum...

"We're on a mission from God" The Blues Brothers

Not so much a quote as a moment- The hunt for Red October Captain Ramius and his Zampolit (Colin Firth) are in Ramiuses cabin. Zampolit is reading from a book (the Bible I think). he is talking in Russian as the camera zooms in on his lips. Once full close up is obtained firth continues to read in English as the camera zooms out. Very good I thought.

From the same film- Give me a ping Vasily- One ping only.

If you'll excuse yet another Blues Brothers quote:

Jake: What is this?
Elwood: What's what?
Jake: (pause) This car. This stupid car. Where's the Cadillac? (Throws cigarette lighter out the window) The Caddy, where's the Caddy?
Elwood: The what?
Jake: The Cadillac we used to have! The Bluesmobile!
Elwood: Traded it.
Jake: You traded the Bluesmobile for this piece of shit?
Elwood: No ... for a microphone.
Jake: A microphone? [Pause] Okay, I can see that. But what the hell is this?
Elwood: I picked it up at the Mount Prospect police auction last spring. It's an old Mount Prospect police car. They were practically giving them away.
Jake: Well thank you, pal. The day I get out of prison, my own brother comes to pick me up in a police car.
Elwood You don't like it?
Jake (Very long pause) No, I don't like it.

(car overtakes queue and jumps open bridge)

Jake: Car's got a lot of pickup.
Elwood: It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. So what do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?
Jake: Fix the cigarette lighter.
Hard work sometimes pays off in the end, but laziness ALWAYS pays off NOW.

'It's a hundred and six miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses'

'HIT IT!'   8)

and later

'Use of unnecessary violence in the apprehension of the Blues Brothers has been approved'

'What if i can't find her?'

'It's easy. She's standing next to you!'

I need a corporal. You're it, until you're dead or I find someone better.

Starship Troopers (A much under-rated film, you'll agree)

and

Globo Gym Announcer: Tired of the same old you? Tired of being out of shape and out of luck with the opposite sex? Tired of being overweight and under-attractive?
White Goodman: Yeah! Oh, hello. I'm White Goodman, Owner, Operator, and Founder of Globo Gym America Corp, and I'm here to tell you that you don't have to be stuck with what ya got.
Hey, Rory. Looking good. Here at Globo Gym, we understand that "Ugliness" and "Fatness" are genetic disorders, much like baldness or necrophilia, and it's only your fault if you don't hate yourself enough to do something about it.
And that's where we come in.
Globo Gym employs a highly-trained, quasi-cultural staff of personal alterational specialists. And with our competitively-priced on-site cosmetic surgery, we can turn that Frankenstein you see in the mirror every morning into a Franken-fine!
Of course you'll still be you in a legal sense, but think of it as a thinner, more attractive, better you than you could ever become without us. How do I know? Well, I'm not only the founder of Globo Gym. I'm also a client.
That's me. Six years and 600 pounds ago... before I knew how much I hated myself. But that all changed once I founded Globo Gym. But don't just take my word for it. Listen to these Globo-Gymers tell you how it is.
Allow me to explain through the medium of interpretive dance

But of course. We quote death and destruction, we don't DO it- unless Zombies are involved naturally ;)

Sarah Connor: How many?
John Connor: All of them, I think.
