Common, I believe. Shorter tail streamers, clearly so in the diving picture, longer thinner bill with black tip just visible, lighter-coloured as well. Dark patch on primaries wider than in Arctic, and no shining white cheeks.

On the Poole expedition, paused at the cafe at Studland Bay. Attending tables were a chaffinch pair and recent brood:

Note feet on the cock bird - I've seen similar strangeness on one up here in Hull as well. Mite or virus apparently.
