7:30 at the roundabout for the gratuitous TMNH route, just the two of us for the Witham Peloton then

I think Oros is also a possiblity depending upon work commitments!

It's amazing how good the food tastes at that place when you've ridden 150km  ;D

See two of you at the roundabout.

I notice on Teethgrinder's calendar that on Sat the 28th Feb he's "Riding around Essex".

Anyone know what's going on with that?

I wonder if he's planning on drafting Sarah Storey round the velodrome for an hour of it?   ;D

If anyone wants to catch The Legend in action...all being well and assuming an 07:30 start along with the others of us on the Horsepower Helpers' Ride, he should be passing through Lavenham at around 09:30-10:00-ish.

I can't make this week.

But next Wednesday I have to meet Clint the Chippy at the shop so was going to ride over to Colchester. I could meet you lot on the way back if you were somewhere convenient.

The Rodney, Little Braxted?

Isn't the Rodney in Little Baddow?

The Green Man is in Braxted I would be well up for that as I can more or less fall out the door from there. Or the Chequers in Wickham Bishops?

I have been thinking I would like to get back to the Oddie before the winter is out, that could work for next week if you are in Colchester OD?

How about The Bell Inn in Feering?  Not one I've been to before, appears to have local guest beers on the pumps.  There's the fall back option of The Sun in Kelvedon/Feering if necessary.
The Green Man at Little Braxted is probably due a visit too, for that extra short ride home for Withamites and Tippers.
Happy with either of these destinations, once decided I'll look at a route of about 25-30 miles for Spa Rd roundabout 7:30pm departure.

I am good with either, quite like the idea of The Bell as I have not been there before but will go with the majority.

I might be antisocial again depending on what time I can get out of work, I'll confirm later though.

The Bell...there's unfinished business there isn't there, something to do with a dry month?... ;D

Is that the pub in Feering? That was one of the few times I actually turned up. I thought I was in the wrong pub. If I recall Tomsk was the only one with a pint and everyone else was on double orange squash or something.

That's probably why I don't remember going there!  Unfinished business indeed!!

Who's out from Witham this evening?
I've plotted a couple of routes beginning at the Spa Road roundabout, I'm preferring the 30 mile route which should see us at The Bell at 9pm, the 36 mile route will probably get us there for 9:30pm.

The Bell, Feering, 30 miles
The Bell, Feering, 36 miles

I am crafting an early escape from work so I will likely catch up with you at The Bell or possibly see you somewhere on the way.
