Spring tides this week. As long as you are off by about 11.30 it will be fine.  Will only be over for about 20 or 30 minutes  anyway

OD, I might take up dinner  invite.  Can you  PM or text address.

Just a note to all, remember to pack your deck shoes this evening as I don't believe Ted welcomes cleated footwear on the yacht...... OD spd sandals may be acceptable but certainly not when worn with socks

Please note that we are having the guest Jacuzzi on the aft deck refurbished at the moment so that won't be available.

Best leave the swimming shorts at home until this small issue is resolved!

Hasn't the forum been quiet and civilised without the little dogger.

Health warning for this evening.

DL is proposing to unleash the Focus on us.

His speed ratings seem to be based on the following averages:

easy paced - anything up to and including 25kmh

moderately paced - 26- 30kmh

cruising 30-35kmh

I am hoping he and the Hustler don't opt for moderate cruising or whatever comes next.

In direct contrast tonight will see Fred's maiden voyage, quite appropriate we're heading for a yacht club.  Fred is built like a brick shithouse but weighs slightly more so my pace will be moderate to slow, flabby legs won't help either.  I shall also be packing a dustpan and brush to sweep up any bits that fall off Fred although I have been round him a few times with huggy's torque wrench.

Bless I hate to see a good man struggle for material and I could see you needed a change of bait so I thought I best chip in again  ;D

This coming from the man who was motor paced from Mersea by none other than the Hustler and Mrs A in the team car, sorry Ted no escaping it I had direct contact with the Hustler whilst in the vehicle......  :o

As OD will be bringing Fred on his maiden voyage I shall leave 'vorsprung durch technik' wrapped up at home for this evening

I will attempt to see if I can fit a front light on as that was my stumbling block before  :'( I get the impression it wasn't manufactured to be ridden in the dark  :(

Just to break up the love-in between DL & Ted I'll see if I squeeze a post in, better type quick!!
I'm intending to attend the Al fresco dining in OD's garden before setting off to West Mersea this evening providing those pesky Colonials leave me alone after 5pm

I think ted is probably having his post ride shower and cup of tea now, closely followed by lunch a few more posts on the thread and it will be time for him to set off for fish n chips in OD's back garden..........

DL, I hope this is a lesson to you.

Do you see how popular the thread and ride are when OD is around spreading joy and goodwill rather than you trying to corrupt us all with your seedy lifestyle choices  O:-)

I hope I catch you before you head off for the day to OD's Ted but I have noticed you seem a lot more mature when the MEMWNS Godfather is posting  :o

Just a quick note though - have you notified the Yacht club of OD's attendance this evening as you would make lcoal news if you receive a lifetime ban due to #olivegate.......

Occording to accuweather (which has not let me down yet!) there is 0% of rain tonight with our return journey still being made in the early 20's temperature wise!

Apparantly it will still be 24 degrees at midnight! No extra layers required  :) Although I might bring a rain jacket as it's bound to piss it down...

I shall be at the roundabout at 19:30, or if I'm a little early, I'll come to your back gate, OD and maybe ponce a cold drink  :P
Those wonderful norks are never far from my thoughts, oh yeah!

Sorry about the slight delay getting back to you I was just picking myself up from the floor in the shock that you're still in the office....

It's the respect that I have for OD that meant I needed to make him aware of the 'kitten killer' you were drinking last week, despite your best efforts to claim otherwise by breaking Sherpherd Neames copywright laws and adjusting their text!!!!

Have they been in contact at all about that................?

Why, did you grass me up to them as well ?

I can see now how you are award winning at work and MEMWNS.  I bet you took an apple in to school every day as well for teacher
