Motorpacing isn't allowed either.

Bah!  You're making this up as you go along!

Moving the goalposts again! I rest my case.......

The Hustler is just waiting for someone to up the ante before he cuts loose next Wednesday.

OD has probably just signed the rest of us up to several weeks of chain ganging around Essex while DL and his fast gang at the front try to get up to speed

I'm hoping the Hustler will be out again next week he loves a turn on the front however I may need to rely heavily on Carlos, Tippers and our new TT'er Ted to push for that extra tenner going into the kitty........ oh and the imaginary bike that you can't attach lights too  :'(

I'm guessing you guys have come out in sympathy with the RMT or something and have decided to spend the day on the forum.

It may be Friday afternoon but some of us are still working.

Time to go to my off site meeting in Admiral's Park...

Going by your lack of activity on the thread today Ted we all presumed you were already there slumped sitting at one of those outside tables!!

I was wondering.

Hopefully the same applies to socks with sandals.

It sure does unless you want this mistake to befall you too Ted

Best moment of the night:

Carlos's brother's mate to OD (under blanket but pre-hat) "so you're the oldest one of this lot ?"

What rot!  You've know me long enough now to know that's not me style at all.

I've just started using that Alpecin shampoo having noted they have their own TdF team and seen all those wonderfully acted telly commercials. I reckon once I've used it for a week or two I'll beat the lot of you - even astride Fred!

Anything! Just bog standard Head & Shoulders at the moment. You can't get cool hair by using some poncey shampoo!
Those wonderful norks are never far from my thoughts, oh yeah!

I'm certain you're right.  Fortunately I have never aspired to have cool hair.  I'm just hoping Alpecin improves my cycling performance.

It doesn't smell like Merlot so I doubt it will taste like it either!

I remember chief coming a cropper along the navigation through Maldon somewhere near the Tesco superstore, narrowly failing to end up in the drink.

Yes I thought it was best to give it a swerve on the return but of course anyone that would like to opt for that route is more than welcome! Probably best Carlos doesn't just in case........  :o

Carlos can borrow my armbands.

I will try to get to Spa again and if not I will intercept.

The barmaid at the yacht club mentioned the Queen's Head (arms ?) at Tolleshunt D'Arcy when we were in there a couple of weeks ago.  She seemed to think they were keeping a number of ales.  Could be worth a diversion at some point.

Some of us will remember the Heybridge Basin pubs from a Christmas Do a couple of years back. What was the name of the girl whose hen night we enhanced?

She was called Katie. Her mum made more of an impression ...
