That's it I think.  What have I forgotten to tell you?
Bike parking?  ::-) Changing facilities to change into disco pants?  8)

I've added a bit about bike parking.  You can use the loo to change into your avant garde disco pants.

Ack - I shall be drinking wine and eating cheese interspersed with some cycling that weekend I am afraid :(  I'm touring up through France, Belgium, Holland that week, setting off on the Friday...

That's a shame but fear not, I has other plans too.  Did I mention the first weekend in October?

You did, I'll have to see how I feel after a week on tour though!   ;D  I've got the Country Bumpkin pencilled in... but...

I also have a clash with another hobby on that weekend (4th Oct), though it was a reserve date the early weather this year means it might need to rock up to that...  I'll know closer to the end of Sept.

Yep, Chelmsford I'll double check with bar staff, but seems like a good option.... I'll need to be organised as it'll eat into my tour prep :)

Bar man seemed to confirm his assertion of a CAMRA only preview night on Wednesday 2nd Sept at The Woolpack (Chelmsford).  Only drawback I can see here is if you aren't a CAMRA member, you would need to join to join in.... (which I'm not at the moment....)

Will potential BBQ attendees please note that there isn't a dress code so disco pants aren't compulsory!  However if you feel the need go for it!

It'll be good to see Brian again if he can make it, since he let us get away after Loudeac

The colonials may interfere with my departure time again but as we're staying quite local I'll at least make my own way over if not with the official depart.  Assuming Acorn #1 will be wanting a fairly direct route to the Hurdlemakers rather than gratuitous diversion via TMNH  ::-)

Do we know what happened to Mr Taylor on the ride ?
He spent three hours with a rider who crashed into a wall while avoiding a car. Other rider taken to hospital.
I think he's appealing his finish time and if approved will put him on par with his 2011 finish time of 89 hours and some minutes.

Ah, that will explain why we didn't cross paths again even going in & out of controls.  Brian should be credited with at least the number of hours he was assisting a stricken rider; I heard that he got back to StQ in around 92 hours so the 89 hour homologation would be right.

I was looking at it earlier.  it's approximately 10 miles Witham->hatPev->NorthHill->WoodhamWalter->hurdlemakers and 8.7 via Olivers Nurseries, Woodham Walter, Tom Tit lane.

I'm tempted to suggest outbound via NH, back via Woodham Walter to her.  She's done NH (two repeats) before, so I think she'll probably go for it.  I don't know what the mini-AndyC33's would prefer though.

Anybody recall if the Hurdlemakers has pickled eggs?
