Plenty of empty kegs to lock bikes to as well - unless they have sorted that out.

If The Sun is the destination here's a A ROUTE for the Witham peloton.

Not sure about my readiness to be at the launchpad for the customary time due to expected colonial interference, may need to start out a little later and take a more direct route.

Change in interference level, I should be able to make the usual launch time

I'm contemplating joining you this evening, via Witham railway station, then riding home afterwards. I shall be having a swim in the jolly old sea (or what passes for sea at Chalkwell) between 5 and 6pm, and then will cook food. I will decide at that point whether I fancy an evening jaunt. Given that I've been going out and having lovely rides after dark, actually doing a slightly longer distance appeals rather.

Certainly don't hang around waiting for me at Witham or anything like that. I will post on here from the train if I set off. I assume the pub will sling us out around 11pm?

I shall probably be along a little after 21:00, having taken the scenic route through Felsted, Terling, Wickham Bishops. Back through Silver End and Braintree.
