I should be okay to join you, Tomsk.  I have this route worked out but it's flexible :)
Will hopefully see you at the S&C about 8:15ish, no intentions of making it a late night so probably minimal energy drink consumption!
(If plans change I'll send you a text)

Just in case there's any late interest there will be a small gathering of MEMWNSers (collective noun required) at the Square & Compasses before advancing on to The Cricketers' Arms via the not quite gratuitous North Hill :)

I have failed to attend a MEMWNS this year. I have plans for that to change...

If you are based in Essex or have any connection at all with God's own county this thread might be of interest.

I'm up for a ride this Wednesday, as book club is scheduled for the following week, [due to half-term.] How about a ride to the Jalsa Ghar, with the Dunmow contingent meeting up somewhere?
I'm away for a few days visiting poorly rellies, but will be back here on Tuesday, [though I will probably get a chance to catch up with MEMWNS developments before then.]

Sorry I've not been about. This week I was away cyclopubcamping with my bro. We went to Wickham Market Orchard (real fires allowed), Southwold and White Horse at Edwardstone.

This week I am away also en famille. See you all soon I hope.

If no takers for the Jalsa idea, I'll do a Flitchbikes 30 mile evening ride as usual to wherever.

I'm in two minds - a Jalsa trip is very tempting, but I need to conserve meagre funds for Friday's EFNRttB excursion.

hmmmmm... decisions... decisions...

I'm saving myself for Friday night. Six pubs and North Hill is no casual undertaking!

I will be out tonight, if only to try and knock off a few additional North Hill ascents.

I'm probably not in the market for a curry, but would happily drink a couple of pints somewhere.  I'm open to suggestions as to location.

How about a gratuitous route to The Walnut Tree, usual 7:15 J&J departure for 8:30ish arrival?
I'll probably be needing to run for home about 10ish so as not to disturb too much on my return to Huggy Towers

Perfect!  I'll be limiting myself to a couple1 anyway

Does that fit with you, Tomsk?

Walnut Tree for 8:30 sounds good to me. Riding the 100km route tomorrow so no heroics! [In the beer or mileage dept.]

At the risk of saying 'ditto' again.......I'm not out this Wednesday either but the rest of the month will probably be okay.
[Next Wednesday of course is OD's Witham Led Ride evening, not that my observation in any way contravenes the Advance Planning sub-clause of the MEMWNS constitution]
