XML/Javascript Books
« on: 25 June, 2008, 11:46:06 am »
Hi,

I know the basics of using XML and XSD. I'm looking for a book that will take me on from that to you XSLT.

Also, I wouldn't mind recommendations for a good text on Javascript.

Thanks
Daniel

For XSLT I'd look at O'Reilly's offering, There is also another really good one that the name of escapes me just now, I'm sure I'll remember eventually :)  It may well have been a free download one (I'll look on my backup system when I get home tonight).  You obviously are feeling far too sane if you are starting down the XSLT route....

Javascript, sorry can't help you there...

Javascript the definitive guide by O'Reilly used to be good. Not sure what the updated version is like. See ZVON.org - ZVON for a tutorial and reference for XSLT. See also W3Schools Online Web Tutorials for XML and XSLT.

I've got a Wrox one that was good for XSLT - also seconded for the O'Reilly one.
