Playing bike and camping kit sokoban, following the excavation of the gas meter for its annual inspection.

Interestingly, the gas man remembered me: It seems that he one of the ones that quoted for the new boiler three years ago, and remembered the "young woman who seemed to know how everything worked".

So there you go. Forget speed dating, get yourself a manometer.

Also catching up on a slight DIY Admin backlog that I've been failing to catch up on all week because work is a bit full on at the moment.

Also waiting for the temperature to get above 2c before venturing into the garage to do some much needed fettling. Those who commented about the state of the tandem ("It would be considerably lighter if you gave it a wash, Chris") at last weeks Audax at Gt Dunmow will be reassured to know that a thorough clean is on the ToDo list

Watching Sleepy Hollow (2013 TV series) and thinking that since all their problems inevitably turn out to be horseman related, the residents of the eponymous town could have everything sorted out by the end of the week if only they'd install cattle grids.
