Which clarinet?

Just re-visiting clarinet for mini ao.  Does anyone know if she’d be better of with:

a Bb-Clarinet (Lindo) - seems good value (but too big for a nearly 8yro?)

Or, a lyons C – much more expensive new, but some ebay it seems.

 I’ve haven’t been able to ask a local tutor yet (county music service)

As the whole world seems to learn on the B♭clarinet I'd stick to that!
