Route for the Manningtree 200 perm?
« on: 20 October, 2013, 04:49:18 pm »
Does anyone know where the Manningtree 200 perm goes? There's no info on the AUK page and I cannot be bothered entering if the route is similar to what I've ridden before in that area. Ta.
What on earth am I doing here on this beautiful day?! This is the only life I've got!!

A little detective work tells me a PM to Tomsk, gibbo or deniece may help.

(I can tell you even though I haven't ridden it, it goes round the usual places you expect go to in 200k from Manningtree, being a perm version of Herman's old Calendar event)

From Manningtree, on the only very squiggly laney bit [where Deniece and I once went ice-skating - alternative slightly longer way round via Sudbury, Clare, Steeple Bumpstead on treated roads....] to Saffron Walden, Buntingford, Lavenham and back.

I've started it from S/W - logistically easier for me - better for an icy start too.
