Subject to real life intervening my plan is to take a bike into London on Wednesday and get the train out as far as Shenfield.  Thereupon I shall take to the roads.  Does anyone fancy meeting up for a drinky-poos?

I suggested to Huggy earlier this morning that we try newly re-opened Terling Inn (aka The Monkey on account of the crest over the door).

Or does anyone else else their own thoughts or preferences?

Forget this.  Just remembered I can't do Thursday  ::-).  It's going to have to be Wednesday I'm afraid.

I'll see if I can meet you at Terling. (even though my recent attempts for MEMWNS have come to nought  :-[)! What time are you thinking that you might be there?

I reckon I will be starting out from Shenfield at about 7pm.  So about 8:30 to 9pm???

I was intending to ride to The Terling Inn via TMNH but work has got in the way, so it will now be a much shorter route although not as short as some have to The Compasses  ::-)

And, assuming TCMT-H's foot is up to it (and remembers your new bike bag) you could even get taken home in an Audi!

Afternoon All.

Busy at work so just pondering over my audax season and in particular my mid summer 600km. Thinking about resurrecting the Witham Bagger and going for the one we missed. namely Witham Friary in Somerset. Looking on Google it's a convenient 300ish km if you circumnavigate that London. Thoughts?

Also can I book a MEMWNS next week to the Cats. Been past it a few times just recently and have never had the pleasure. Probably Tuesday or Wednesday next week.

1p off - something to celebrate ::-) at least not another increase, as Del says...

I'll try and actually get some miles in this evening - see you all about 9-ish, then.

No from me to the 600 although I wish you well and shall cheer from the side lines.

Yes to The Cats - I love that place and Wally in particular.
