I went there once a while back, we stopped for a brief drink.  Seemed very nice and if I recall there's like a balcony, a mini mezzanine type thing in the bar with a table or two on it.

I stopped going there, 09 was the last time, I always thought it a bit shabby. Current reviews aren't particularly good but on the upside it's not far from the Square & Compasses if you want to decamp!

Splendid!  If we do go the King Billy you might be interested to know they sometimes have homemade pork pies available

I hope it's a fine evening when we can sit outside - I'm not sure we'll be able to fit tippers in to the King Billy 
Also, I'm led to believe that the legendary pork pies are on offer quite infrequently these days, a bit like pickled eggs in other fine establishments it seems.
