Can we add the Endeavour in Springfield to the list of pubs we need to visit.  Daughter no.1 has just moved in next door and describes at as "a bit of an old man's pub", which sounds ideal.

I haven't been to The Endeveavor since I was 16. There was a party at the Rugby club afterwards. I seem to remember lots of Southern Comfort, vomit and the fact that I lost my trousers. It was an epic night  :P

I should be okay for tomorrow evening and the King's Head, Tollesbury.  If we finalise on the plan the Witham peloton could follow THIS ROUTE from the OD Library of Routes.  We did a truncated version on 16th March last year.

Lost your trousers at the Rugby club party, are you sure you didn`t lose anything else that night? ;D

Up for a long evening ride...I'll be going the most direct way via Silver End, Braxted Park, Tolleshunt Major, so probably won't intercept the peloton en-route or be there until after 21:00.

We can shift to a more neutral venue for we far flung types if that suits better ?

Given the current weather forecast and general shape the winter is taking, some neutral venues might be a good idea for this month.

For forecast says dry and 2degs. That's okay isn't it?

I think Ted just needs to Tomskup a bit OD look at the mileage Tom is happy to put in on Wednesday night.
No doubt Ted will be riding from the Crowne Plaza after some motorised assistance

Ted is the one offering to ride further on Wednesday. It will be 1 degree with a stiff north easterly. I am thinking of our elderly members.  Sid James is another year older today and he finds the cold very difficult

Excuse me!  As one of our older members I don't need some youngster making excuses for me!

But you live in the centre of the known galaxy. Those of us on the outer rim may hold a different view. We need to be mindful of our age and location diversity policies.

Colonial abduction may keep me away from the bike & pub this evening  >:(
If I do make it I will most probably riding a direct route home.  I also notice that the OD forward planned route neatly avoids actually going to the Kings Head  ::-)

Okay, thanks for your patience, my suggestion is that the Witham peloton follows THIS ROUTE.  There is now no COR and it's shorter.  Zat alright?

Should we abduct you and make you ride your bicycle to the Kings Head?

What's the plan for tomorrow evening?  I'm hoping to be more successful at getting awheel this week.
