Colchester sounds good to me, but if TCMR is bringing OD along, then it might be a bit far for him, with him not cycling much these days. Best pick somewhere more local to the old fella.

That’s next week. Try to keep up!

TCMR won’t be joining us so if we still go to The Cats it means we can play with TMNH beforehand!

I may will be taking a more direct route to the pub.
Just saying! ;D

Right knee is failing to withstand any pressure and keeps collapsing on me so a bit of a gentle pootle may be in order.

I am planning to join at Spa road tonight (don't wait if I'm late), but I like the idea of following Jem on the gentle route to the Cats......

I'm probably taking the direct route to the pub as well. I'll try to get to Spa in time, but don't wait for me.

Apparently there's no food, decent beer or wine at the pub, so no point being there early!

If any of us follow OD's route we'll probably be there about 9:30 and likely ready to leave again about 10pm

So, where to this Wednesday evening?  Shall we decide on a venue based on who's available?

To get the ball rolling, I'm keen to get awheel...

Given a few are on the Flatlands Friends at the weekend, a local ride would be great.

How about the Monkey as a starter for 10?

Wasn't there mention of Colchester for this week?  I note the calendar calls out the Chapel Beer Festival but that may not be appropriate for a school night.

I'm communicating with psyclist to see where worked for him.   I've come over all inclusive.

The Monkey at Terling works for Andrew but he prefers the Spiritual Home as its further west and some of you loonies are riding 600km at the weekend

Thoughts?

The Monkey`s pretty crap to be honest, I`ve never had a decent pint or bite to eat there yet! I don`t really want to spend any more money there. The beer festival is my favourite one and the spiritual home is a pleasure to visit anytime.

Oh, sorry to hear that, we've had some good experiences at The Monkey, albeit not recently.  Is there a consensus growing for The Compasses, LG?
