I'm out.
I'd be happy to split and stay west but I do owe our wheel builder beer  ;D so don't mind travelling east.
If its that far east or its that wet i'll probably drive though  ::-)

I’ll be out if we’re staying reasonably local.

The Prince of Wales, Brick End, Broxted seems to be the default western foul weather venue. Any other suggestions?

The Prince of Wales works for me - hopefully the weather will be slightly less biblical than it was on our last visit!

Swan at Totham for Easterners ?
Is there a strong probability that anyone will turn up?
Given the weather forecast I was going to stay dry this week.

I'm undecided but might stay dry, I've been having a couple of sessions of what I think is mild gout so it might be for the best

The Swan is our wet weather venue !

Doesn't look like a goer though.

Hopefully we can get going again soon.

Definitely not awheel this evening. Lots of rain all day and at least until arrival time means potentially large puddles and dripping in to a pint, hopefully better next week....

Whispers ... it's quite nice weather now! Until the next downpour. I'll be up the POW around 20:00.

I walked to the Woolpack (Witham), had a few pints of Maldon gold and wobbled homeward.

The Western Contingent managed to more or less hit the dry weather window. I started out wearing my rain jacket, but the clouds parted and it turned into a sunny evening, albeit with very wet roads. It just started raining again as I got home at about 23:35 (good tailwind too!). Gavin might not have been so lucky, heading into the wind a bit from Broxted. Owen brought a metal umbrella on wheels ...

Yes I wasn’t so lucky heading home - into the wind and quite heavy rain most of the way too. But it’s only a short trip home from Broxted so all good

Not for me this week unless that’s central Yorkshire.  Hopefully see you all after your PBP adventures to hear all the stories.

Central would be good for me - test ride of the PBP bike, fully loaded ...

Where is due a visit? Walnut Tree, Broads Green; Rose and Crown, Great Waltham; Wheatsheaf or Rose and Crown, Writtle; Viper, Mill Green ...
