Paralympic Road events - TV coverage?
« on: 06 September, 2012, 06:29:25 pm »
I'm getting the impression that CH4's budget reached it's natural limit at Brands. They only seem to have 2 cameras there - one on the finish line, and one for doing a few interviews.

Or is the coverage hidden on the website, or Freeview HD, or ... ?

Shame, I'd like to see tandems tearing round Paddock!

Channel 4 mostly rely on OBS for the coverage (apart from a few of their own cameras), and OBS decided not to cover it.

Sarah Storey not only won the road race today, but caught up overtook the men's race peloton who had set off three minutes earlier. Now that would have made exciting television coverage.
