Heading up into harehills, ambulance came past, full siren, horns light.
Traffic was jammed stationary all through harehills, then when I reached the junction of roundhay and easterly I could see why.
The bottom of easterly was blocked off by police cars. I asked if I could walk round, and proceeded up the pavement.
I counted 6 police cars, two ambulances and an ambulance responder. One car with windscreen smashed in, looked like they'd hit a ped. Police interviewing people at the adjacent bus stop.
The ambulances weren't going anywhere, interior lights off and the drivers standing outside talking, so I guess it was an on-site fatality. Can't find any mention of it in the papers, tho'.
