<Googles for Thudbuster>

Yee gods and little fishes.  People make seatposts that expensive.  :o

I hope it's comfy, it ought to come with it's own physiotherapist for that money !
Actually, it is rocket science.

Excellent choice, and Wifee tells me that you will not regret the expense of the Thudbuster. Enjoy!

Hi    Well done another tandem over in the west and it's a Cannondale .  Looking forward to seeing the beast, will have to get ours up and going again [5 years in dry dock]. Fancy a run one day.

Mr rdavisb's wifee is entirely correct. After a wee (very wet) run yesterday I can confirm the Thudbuster is fantastic, a worthy investment reminiscent of being on a firm spacehopper!   :thumbsup:

Congratulations on the purchase! I have found memories of storing our first tandem in the hallway, and making extra trips around the flat just to so I could "check" on it another time  ;D

Ah, try googling for "Tamer Pivot Plus Carbon shockpost".
Shockpost. Kind of appropriate name that.

That's very nice.  I've long been trying to persuade my stoker that we need something to compliment our Dawes Double Edge...

I have heard people making dire prognostications about tandems with disk brakes - something I had considered changing ours to, as I am underwhelmed (and sometimes alarmed) by the stock V-brakes.  If Canondale are fitting them, the problem can't be too great.

You mean Thorn?  :)

The forks are incredibly beefy and the dropouts are modified away from forward facing to vertical. I do make sure the QR is tight before riding.

This photo illustrates it a bit better

I must get a some little red upwards arrows to put on them...
