RIP Rob Buckman

Died on a plane last night on his way to Toronto, where he was living.

It is simpler than it looks.

As a child, I used to think he was Fred Harris. Then I eventually figured out if Fred Harris appeared with Miriam Stoppard he wasn't funny.

One of the most riveting pieces of television I remember was when he made a documentary about his illness, sparing himself nothing.  True scientific attitude, honest, direct and gripping
