He was on Panorama making his "case" for the abolition of the Minimum Wage.

And he'll be the first to volunteer for a wage below the current minimum, I take it?

He could come and work for me. I would charge him a fair rate for the privilege.

Is he the twat I heard on R5 yesterday morning arguing the same? His case seemed to be that some jobs are "worth only £5.50 an hour" to employers, so they can't afford to employ someone to do the job, ergo the minimum wage is causing unemployment. A particularly specious line of reasoning. It made me really annoyed - not just because they were giving him the oxygen of publicity but because his cretinous argument was going largely unchallenged by that thicko woman they've got in to replace Shelagh.

And she's another one for the list. Thicko Woman, not Shelagh. I love Shelagh.

They had some bloke on talking about luxury speedboats the other day. He was going through some of the features on such vessels and Thicko Woman was befuddled by his mention of "Bombay doors". I felt compelled to write in to point out that the feature in question was actually "bomb-bay doors".

Yes, that's the twat.

If we apply the logic of "free" market economics, if a business cannot afford to employ people, then it shouldn't.

Matthew bloody arsehole Wright.  Would ya?

I presume that in this instance, the usage of "would ya?" refers to devising an amusing demise for him, que no:demon:

I had forgotten about him; I had always thought of him as a knob but now I realise I was mistaken. Apologies.

It may be a complete coincidence and I admit that I wasn't wearing my specs but I am sure that I saw him at lunchtime today outside the RFH as I passed on my Friday run. He was texting while picking his nose and despite this impressive display of multi-tasking still looked a twat. It could have been some other twat of course.

He's on Mock The Week quite regularly. When he's on I put the telly on mute when he's speaking.

In the unlikely event that he hasn't been mentioned previously, I'd like to name Wayne Rooney (particularly after last nights display)  ::-)

Steve Jobs's death got me thinking about other business heroes. Specifically those that are/have been (reputedly) able to walk on water.

Therefore, I nominate as Super Twats, Richard Branson, Alan Sugar and Clive Sinclair.

I know we've had Lewis Hamilton in this thread before, but he's worth re-stating after spending most of the 2011 season behaving like a big twatty twatter.
