Eurostar bikes policy (no bikes currently)
« on: 06 July, 2020, 01:02:27 pm »

Eurostar just tweeted this:

"For now, at least until further notice, our usual bike on board service is suspended on all routes and we will be unable to accept any bookings for fully assembled bikes or boxed bikes.  Folding bikes that can be part of the regular luggage allowance are unaffected."

Dunno how long this will be the case for. Looks like they have taken a leaf from NS' book on not letting a good crisis go to waste.

Yes, that’s what I’ve heard as I’ve been trying to book a trip back to the UK in August. My backup is to take a couple of trains from Paris and catch the Calais-Dover ferry. But waiting on any update from Eurostar in the meantime.

Eurodispatch not operating

"The safety of our colleagues and customers is paramount, and due to the current circumstances surrounding Covid-19, we have taken the decision to temporarily close EuroDespatch. Therefore, it is with regret that we will be unable to offer any Eurodespatch services on our trains as of Monday 6 April until further notice."
