Gavin Williamson, education secretary, channeling Flanders and Swan

Quote
The education secretary, Gavin Williamson, has claimed the UK was the first country in the world to clinically approve a coronavirus vaccine because the country has “much better” scientists than France, Belgium or the US.

Williamson said he was not surprised the UK was the first to roll out the immunisation because “we’re a much better country than every single one of them”.

I just saw this on C4 news.  The fireplace salesman and über-Gammon Nick Ferrari.  At first I thought it was Steve Coogan taking the piss.

Is he really the best this panoply of prats can come up with?  The twat.

Much though it irks me to be fair to the twat, he was fairly successfully avoiding repeating yesterday's claim that the speedy approval had anything to do with Brexit, and trying to make a joke that would land well with Ferrari (and presumably the listeners, or some of them).

On this occasion I reckon he's more standard twat than super-twat.

She's known as Julia Dunning-Kruger in another place I frequent. Not without good reason.

well done andrew c and Guy.

The best I could come up with was Julia Heartless-Bruiser, which doesn't fit nearly as well.

All these individuals (who admittedly had stayed off my radar before this thread) seem indistinguishable from parodies. I just looked up Nick Ferrari, who's I'm sure would grace the definition of gammon in the Big Picture Dictionary of Modern Words. The only thing high performance about him seems to be his name. I have a horrid feeling that London taxi drivers cut out pictures of his face and stick them over the face of their favourite gay porn stars so they have something to do in their downtime.

As for JHB, surely being wrong about everything has to take a toll. She's like a black hole for facts. In they go, and they're never seen again. She's a giant water-filled condom of wrong. She'd burst messily if dropped.

Julia Hateful-Spewer is a toned down version of Hatey Katie.  The irony about these people is they complain vociferously about the tories but guess who they vote for regardless?

Slightly surprising we’ve overlooked Eustice thus far, given that he’s a former Kipper.

Perhaps he has been keeping his powder dry.

Apparently it started with Ash Sarkar taking exception to odious Super-Twat Rod Liddle's twattery (see Efrogwr's post above).  Burchill then waded in with the “the Prophet Muhammad was a paedo” bollocks used by lazy gam-gams all over antisocial media when they can’t be arsed to engage their critical faculties* and consider that the mores of seventh-century Arabia are not those of 21st century BRITAIN.

Julie Burchill, Rod Liddle, Ash Shakar, and a late appearance by Owen Jones. God save us. It's the seven dwarves of intellect. No, I doubt they can count either.

Truss.

She and her fellow fascist ideologists do not want to understand equality.  Equality is about giving people the same opportunities, not giving them favour.  If young white males don't take their opportunities that is unfortunate, if black, disabled, female, religious, gay etc. people are not even given the opportunity, how can they ever take it?

What she said was in effect, white lives matter.

More than a mere super twat, much much more.

I've never understood what everyone sees in Jones.  He's a second rate journalist whose political acumen has developed little beyond student politics.  I know he's gay and writes for the Guardian - but that doesn't make you a great thinker or champion of the Left.  He's closer to Mandelson than Mandela...
