I've just bought two sets of pads for a giro Atmos helmet on eBay...

So how likely is it I'd be interested in a set of pads for a giro Monza?

Maybe they think you're a Giro collector, who likes nothing better than an evening polishing a helmet?

I think they pay benefits by bank transfer these days...

Is this in a similar vein to Booking.com trying to sell you hotels in Zurich after you've been there once?
Their CRM needs to figure out that I go places once unless it's a major transport hub and that suggesting similar sorts of places might be a good idea.
Although I have had an idea as to how to blow my Rona holiday funds that includes a return trip to both Oslo and Stockholm so...

Or like Nectar, who analysed everything I'd bought from Sainsbury's and eBay, saw I lived in the SW of England and determined that what I really wanted was a DFDS Seaways trip from Newcastle to Amsterdam.

Or Farcebok, who kept bombarding me with shitverts for businesses in, and weather forecasts for, York, due to some dodgy IP address-based tomfoolery.  Fuckerberg goes on TV and blathers on about how his “algorithms” target shitvertising so it's relevant to the victim but he is a LIAR who wants badly to be packed off to the camps.

FB does need to tune up their algorithm for sending advertising.

This:  https://www.uddertechinc.com/products/shoulder-guard?variant=20787476934  showed up for me a while ago.

The only thing I can think of is that I had posted an explanation of why one sort of college/university (the XYZ State ones) were often called "cow colleges" by students at the "University of XYZ" institutions.

[The "state" colleges were often charged with practical education matters, such as betterment of agricultural practices, and thus might have livestock on hand for scholars to learn about.]

I never see Faecebook adverts.  I only use it on a phone, in Firefox, with UBlock Origin.

I opened it once in a normal browser with no adblocker. It was almost as bad as a Newsquest webshite.

Oh, that explains why I never see adverts on Fb (Firefox)
Hadn't worked that one out.
Now I need help to get rid of the ads on the Met Office website.
On a mobile phone, only about 2 lines of content is visible
