You could message poly hive?

I think the clue is in the name (although how that goes with running a B&B I have no idea).

I kept bees for about 10 ears until the dreaded varroasis jacobsoni (apparently now classified as a separate species, v. Destructor) wiped my hives out.

Who is running your course? I did a number of courses at the Writtle Ag Coll with a S. African guy called Clive de Bruin.

If you do take the plung don't buy kit unless you ask me first. I've got several complete hives plus assorted other stuff stacked up at home all in good nick. I'd like it to go to a good home.

My mother used to keep bees. Evil ones she trained to pursue small boys. I think.

Helly is right.  But Swarm_catcher is busy cycling in Belgium this weekend.

I keep bees yes and long before I started the Guest House. A wee tech point but a B&B is 3 letting rooms or less. More is a Guest house but that gets complex with licencing issues and hotels.

"Poly Hive Pete"! Not "Polly" at all then!

I have some serious mental reimaging to do.

Busy queen rearing atm, some 20 nucs created for sale in mid to late June. £130 a unit if anyone here is interested, the advert goes public in Bee Craft's June edition.
