This week = The Endeavour in Chelmsford. Is that still the plan?

Yes but there is limited options for secure parking there for bikes.  Beer is good though (I tried it out a few months ago, the even have their own Endeavour brew).

We could substitute for another pub in Chelmo - Ale house, Queens Head or Orange Tree - the latter 2 have adequate parking in their beer gardens. (We could even do QH & OT on the same night as they are a few houses away from each other!)

I don't mind, I just need a destination to route to. Happy to go with the majority, or the dictator if MEMWNS is not democratic!

Can't we chain them to the Police Station and walk up the road?  :demon:

Don't think so, just thought it was a bit closer to the Police Station, although it is closer than ted's old office to the beer festival

I assumed you meant the County Police HQ which is only a few hundred metres from The Endeavour...
Those wonderful norks are never far from my thoughts, oh yeah!

I’d quite like to go to The Endeavour although I will have to stop imbibing at 10pm as I have a fasting blood test on Thursday (cholesterol check).

Potential motivation to get back on the bike if the results come back elevated

I'm already getting back on it, "it" being everything, including spinning.  I'm still a bit under the weather but getting better slowly.

Reckon we can lock the bikes all together on the narrow frontage outside the Endeavour - there's a couple of bikes on Streetview doing that. There's seats in the bay window...

Just had a look at Streetview, I think we'll be fine.

The OD Library of Routes offers the Witham peloton THIS OPTION if The Endeavour in confirmed.

Fred is my steed of choice at the moment.  It could be a while before I consider myself up to riding fixed again.

I hope to join the Peleton at the top of North Hill (usual place) If I'm not there, don't wait and I'll see you at the rehydration centre.

I'm going to suggest that the Witham Peloton will be at the rehydration centre at about 9:30 on that route. I would say that gives OD enough time for a swift half before his fasting starts but I'm guessing I know he won't be joining us anyway.  :-\

I'll try and pick up the peloton as it leaves Witham along the Maldon road,  by the mini-RBT.

I may be late (work call at 6:30), so don't wait for me if I'm not there.  I'll try to catch you up (I also loaded a couple of alternative routes which cut bits off OD's published one).
You are in a maze of twisty flat droves, all alike.

Looking at the forward planning calendar, the suggestions go as far as the end of February currently. Could we have a quick discussion on the next batch of venues, perhaps on 21st Feb when we are together in Littley Green?

I'm more than happy with the forward planning concept, with Oscar's Dad and now jiberjaber doing an excellent job. I'm just raising the question as to whether we could do more with the spread of venues to ensure equal access opportunities, from both the east/north of the region and the west.
