I was planning to ride tonight.

Given Jibbers predicament, and that the SH was initially proposed, where shall we aim for?

I would say let's save OT until Jibbers is available. I would agree to going to the Compasses.

GWS Jibbers - everyone seems to have it at the moment...

Remember, if you want cider tonight, you'll have to be here before 9pm, plus I'm tired and a little grumpy, which I know is unusual
You can’t just call time out and stroll on into the beach if you don’t like the way things are goin’.

Also, I may be wrong, I'll check NHS guidelines, but I don't believe snuff is the best treatment for a respiratory illness.

OD, are your nasal membranes throbbing? Are you on a nicotine high?

Regular snuff might be useless but I've bought MEDICATED snuff and that's a whole different thing!  Not noticed any throbbing or feeling high but I am feeling invincible which is just as well as I'm currently in Croydon!

Thankfully you're not throbbing, but don't get carried away with that invincibility shit whilst you're "medicated". We all quite like you and we don't want you believing you can fly or something equally daft.

A throbbing OD - the mind boggles.

Mind bleach available at the Spiritual Home, although too much and the ride home gets "interesting".

I hope you are all thirsty on Friday night as I've just collected 36 pints of Maldon Gold and 36 pints of Oscar Wild   Perhaps a sleeping ban until it is all finished?!

:P I do love an Oscar Wilde. Thank you Chief!

I also know - from previous experience with a different beer  - that four pints is my max for getting home. (Capacity for getting home and getting myself into the house and to bed is apparently somewhat less... )

However, last Champion Chief event saw us some of us tottering to tents at about 3.30am so maybe there's room for one more. It's all about pacing  ;D

Pacing?  I've heard of the concept and think its perhaps something I should get the hang of  ;D

Given your target of 10 pints, I think fast pacing will work just fine for you ...

There is NO way I'm attempting 10 pints!

No doubt OD will be trying to push this on us unsuspecting youngsters as well while we are trying to enjoy our shandies.

A colleague of mine was explaining some advanced snuff taking techniques.  According to Bree in Marketing snuff should be taken with a double nostril snort.  Coke ("Just say no Zamo!") is taken via a single nostril (apparently) and we don't do that sort of thing  :hand:

Well I'll try most things once including a double nostril snuff and sneeze session.

Right I'm gonna do one from work, sort my stuff out and stick prosecco corks on my camping chair. See you later.

Prep' going well here.  We may be arriving at the Chequers a little earlier what with the weather and all but still be planning to eat at 8pm ;)

If you'd like to save some weight on your bike then feel free to use the camping chairs here - I'd bulk bought a load of them for use

After a trial run of some of the quiz questions at lunchtime, you'll be pleased to learn that I'm making some of them easier
