What about postponing 24 hours ?  The weather looks a lot less interesting tomorrow evening.
Looks about the same tomorrow evening according to the ever so reliable BBC Weather, except there will have been a full day of heavy rain beforehand.
We can skip this week if there's general apathy, just need to let vehicular attendees know that cyclists are unlikely to be attendance.

It’s defo just the weather putting me off. I even have my new BFC dynohub wheel and new lights to try out!

I’m disgusted with myself.

Looks dry tomorrow evening and no 40mph gusts.

I need to start making more effort (I'm not the only one...) so happy to go out tonight or tomorrow night if anyone can make it all the way to the Swan LT.

Ok, sanity prevails. Tomorrow evening is ok by me.

I'll take the chance of a shower or two in preference to rain and strong winds. Swan LT? Nice 50 mile round trip for me.

I agree, it’s less sporting driving to the pub if there are fewer cyclists to mow down on the way.
You can’t just call time out and stroll on into the beach if you don’t like the way things are goin’.

And there is no dedicated cycle path to any of the pubs that we cycle to so I guess every 3rd motorist will be trying to mow us down, may as well make it a bigger target to hit

I have just checked, they are saying they will be open all evening.

Now there's no excuse not to be there. Yes Huggy, I'm looking at you.

It wasn't me.  For once I'm not to blame.  Although it could have been Oaky, it's been a while since we blamed him for stuff.

Can I kick off this week's exciting discussion about venues? How about Walnut Tree in Broads Green. Seems like we should go there given their facebook page has us as the main picture!

Walnut Tree sounds good to me. I can use it as an opportunity to ask about royalties!

On Saturday, The Elders decreed that it was Spiritual Home this week - I think some of our injured members have already made arrangements to attend...

My winter bike is still pretending to be a uni-cycle so I am unlikely to be out this week unless the replacement spokes arrive good and early tomorrow.
